The GLEK BANIAK hanging lamp is not just a source of light, but a work of art that combines functionality and symbolism.
GLEK BANIAK pitcher lamps not only serve as sources of light, but also act as talismans that preserve and transmit the most valuable resource - light. They invest the space with a sense of persistence and a connection with the common past. This pitcher lamp not only illuminates the room, but also carries with it a symbolic meaning, reminding of the importance of preservation and common connection with the past.
The GLEK pendant light has irregularities on their surface, similar to fingerprints on clay. Among our ancestors, jugs acted as reliable custodians of resources, such as water, milk or cereals, protecting valuables from the effects of temperature, pests and the destructive effects of time. For a long time, we dreamed of creating a form that is distinguished from the classical style. In particular, we want to share a separate topic of our pride - the development of cellulose jugs, which practically do not differ from ceramic ones in appearance. Even after experimenting with tinted cellulose, these jugs became a real creative achievement for us. Despite the fact that the jugs are made of cellulose, they fully convey the impression of ceramics, in particular, a thick-walled and warm material, but at the same time they are much lighter than clay versions.
