"Ukrainian Flowers" is not just a carpet, but a visual journey to the sources of Ukrainian cultural aesthetics. The patterns are inspired by Petrykivka painting, but interpreted in a modern way: stylized petals seem to be chaotically scattered in the background, creating the illusion of movement, lightness and effortless beauty. The choice of a restrained palette is a conscious decision that allows you to easily fit the carpet into a modern interior, without losing the depth of the folk code.
Yulia Kononenko's original design is childhood memories, home smells, drinks from pots with periwinkle and viburnum. This carpet is like a piece of memory of the past, woven into the fabric of the present. It embodies the love for textiles, dishes, traditions and landscapes of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
