Floor Hanger HILKA

Simplicity and elegance of natural forms are embodied in the minimalist concept of the design product - hangers "HILKA". The versatility of the style is supported by the combination of two main materials: wood and metal. Laconic design and light theme harmoniously support the idea of ​​cleanliness of space. Made of durable materials and with a stylish design, it will satisfy a variety of preferences. Inspired by floral motifs, Ukrainian authors Ulyana Zachkevych and Stanislav Boychuk (branch from the Ukrainian language - branch) created a form that is a complementary element of almost every interior. "HILKA" is a multifunctional design solution for storing clothes and shoes. Hanger "Khilka" is convenient to use and transport. When creating it, the authors focused on mobility. It can be easily moved, removed, adjusted for any needs. The hanger consists of 6 ash sticks, which at the end branch into three or four parts, creating additional space for hanging clothes. We were looking for a unique technique that would allow us to bend the blanks evenly, maintain the same bend radius and groove length, while holding the sticks tightly together to make the product strong and waterproof. The creation of "Khilka" includes 11 stages of production, including manual work and a long-term process of wood processing. Flexible and at the same time strong gum is chosen as the main material of the hanger. Ulyana Zachkevych and Stanislav Boychuk about their product: we tried to transform people's perception by combining mobility, multifunctionality and aesthetics.
