Unique charachteristics

Concrete chess is a handmade product. The set includes 16 white and 16 black pieces, as well as a 10 mm thick concrete playing field of gray. These chess sets can be purchased in a classic or modern style.
The design was developed by Ukrainian architect Slava Balbek together with a team of designers: Alina Vovkotrub and Roman Khoroshilov.
The pieces and the field are packed separately in a soft lodgement, which repeats the shape of a box measuring 340x340 mm.
The total weight of the chess set with packaging is 3.5 kg.
