The main idea and inspiration for this work was the white rabbit, which is always in a hurry, from the story of Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. The picture is made in a somewhat unusual technique: charcoal and water were used for the bottom layer, which gave an interesting airy effect and separations, the cracks were created using acrylic enamel, and the top layer and the rabbit itself are oil.
